Now you want to get your vehicle through the TÜV and the inspector finds fault with the broken plastic flap? Annoying. With our eXODA hinged fuel filler cap you are saved. Above all, it is suitable for easy retrofitting because the base has an opening. Simply loosen the tank filler neck, do not remove it! Then slide the bottom around the filler neck. But the most important thing is that the fuel filler cap has a hinge, so it has no predetermined breaking point. The problem with bad plastics is that the plasticisers evaporate over time, so if the fuel filler cap does not have a hinge, it will break at the point where the pseudo-hinge, i.e. a stiff piece of plastic that is difficult to bend, is located. Our LPG autogas cap square is therefore durable. The diameter in width is 50mm, in length with hinge 58mm. The workmanship is solid, yet it remains flat enough. In total, it is 16mm thick when closed.
