Universal pole cover from eXODA. This cover is a special protective cap. This pole cover can certainly be used for many purposes, especially for car batteries. Your car will not pass the TÜV if the pole protection cap for the positive pole is missing. So this is mandatory for all batteries! Now there are numerous variants of what a pole cover must look like. We have developed a pole cover for car batteries that covers a large area. The decisive feature of this pole cover, however, is the cable fixing clip. This can be inserted into the guide grooves to suit the cable diameter. A further advantage is that it can be attached later without having to dismantle the cable. One for thick and one for thin cables. The idea behind the cover is that you can cover the pole of your battery in your car and hardly have to consider the cable thickness when ordering the cover. The pole cover is suitable for car batteries with a cable diameter of up to 17mm. The cable opening has a diameter of 20mm. With the nominal size of 17mm, we simply assume that the PVC sheath of the cable for your battery has a diameter of 1.5mm. With a thick cable, we just assume a little more sheathing to make sure it fits. 17mm corresponds to a cable cross-section of approx. 225 mm2 - that's really big. These are material properties that do not have to be taken for granted. These are material properties that are not fulfilled by all car batteries. eXODA 12V battery cables have a temperature resistance of up to 70 °C, which is usually sufficient. So this pole cover is more than sufficient for that too.
