They are stronger than steel, much lighter, light resistant and safe. Tension and bending can hardly harm them. eXODA ropes are compacted under heat and pressure. A special coating protects the eXODA ropes from deformation and abrasion and makes them durable. Chemicals, oil, acids and alkalis do not damage the eXODA ropes. The material is the absolute high-tech top product and is normally used for high-performance sailing yachts (America's Cup). Also various gliding airports use these ropes as towing ropes with lengths of more than 1000m. A rope with 12 strands (the individual fibres in the rope) is braided from the "raw material" and then heated and stretched. This brings the rope to an even smaller diameter. The result is a rope with unsurpassed breaking strength. The braided construction makes it very easy to produce plug-in splices or repair torn ropes.
